Client M was a recent winner of a contest I held on my XOXO Alice Boudoir Photography FB business page. I had over 300 women enter to win the contest for a free boudoir photoshoot including professional hair and makeup, and in the end chose 8 winners. In additional to the free photoshoot, the winners were each gifted 5 fully edited high resolution digital images. They had the opportunity to buy more, in the form of digital images, albums, printed photographs and wall art, although were under no obligation to do so. Several of the final contest winners loved their images so much they upgraded and chose to have albums made from their boudoir photographs. Those albums were turned into fantastic gifts for their loved ones, and one client is saving the album to give to her new groom on their wedding night!
As a college student, M's budget was pretty limited but she was overjoyed to take home the images included with her contest win.
She was a delight to have in the studio, and we had the best day talking about life, body positivity, sex positivity, feminism and gender politics, college, family and dogs :) She loved the judgement free zone in our studio, and enjoyed the experience of feeling comfortable and safe in her own skin. That is an experience we strive to replicate for all of our portrait photography clients.
