This couples boudoir session was photographed at my studio in St. Louis Missouri. I've photographed T* a half a dozen times and each time is more fun. For this particular photoshoot, she brought along her handsome husband so that we could do a couples shoot for the two of them. Although I don't photograph couples as much I photography women by themselves, I love the couples sessions that we do! Any time I have photographed a couple, it is always after photographing the woman in the relationship first. Once she has her first session in the studio, she is welcome to schedule a session for her and her partner. It really helps to know one of the people in the couple intimately in order to direct them for a fantastic couples boudoir session.
T* is a really amazing body positive advocate in her own right, and posts images from our sessions along with inspirational quotes on her instagram and blog. I love how open she is about her journey to love herself and her body. She is clear that is wasn't and easy or fast journey, but that it was entirely worthwhile and she is so glad that she put in the hard work. She is happier and healthier, and more comfortable in her own skin than ever before.
